Pleiospilos bolusii “Dumpiesnuif”
These South African succulents have often been described as “living stones” as they resemble clumps of split granite stones. Indigenous people dry and powder the flesh and chew or snuff the material for its inebriating properties. The thick succulent leaves range up 2” in thickness and 3” in lenghth. In the fall the plant produces spectacular flowers of burning yellow and orange. Will tolerate light frost if kept dry.
