Product Availability
Most orders will ship out within 24 hours during weekdays with a few exceptions. We do our best to update our website with accurate product availability and estimated due dates for those products that are out of stock.
Our cut off time for Next Day orders is around 1:00 PM CST. Orders placed later than 1:00 PM may not go out until the following day. UPS does not pick up or drop off on the weekends, so Next Day orders placed on Friday before 1:00 PM will not arrive until Monday.
Live plant shipments are usually made Monday through Wednesday to keep them from spending the weekend in UPS’s warehouse. So if you place your order on a Thursday, your plant order will not ship until the following Monday.
Billing and Credit Card Charges
The Basement Shaman will only bill credit cards upon shipment of your order. Our name, The Basement Shaman, will show up on your credit card bill.
Ordering with a Personal Check or Money Order
If you don’t have a credit card, or if you’re not comfortable ordering online, we welcome orders sent via snail-mail accompanied with a money order, cash or a personal check. Orders paid with a money order or cash will be filled upon receipt, but personal check take about 2 weeks to clear the bank.
Simply print out our Printable Order Form. , fill it out (be sure to sign the disclaimer statement at the bottom), include check, cash or money order (payable to The Basement Shaman) and send it to our P.O. box address:

Tax
Sales tax will be added to the orders of Illinois residents only at the rate of 6.5%. No sales tax is necessary in any of the other states.
International Shipments
Due to the increase in credit card fraud, when shipping orders outside the United States, the order must ship to the same address to which the credit card is registered. Sorry for the inconvenience.
