Commercial tobacco is a species called Nicotiana tabacum, but it is its sister species Nicotiana rustica that packs much more nicotine and hammer-like power. The potent energy of N. rustica has been almost universally recognized by indians throughout the Americas who have traditionally used large doses to enter into visionary trance states. The leaves of N. rustica have been chewed, smoked, made into drinkable potions or lickable preparations and even prepared as enthogenic enemas!
